Don't do much.
And certainly don't make a New Year's Resolution.
Do you like disappointment?
Do you like hard work?
Good, so don't make one.
Seriously, don't kid yourself with that bullsh*t.
Embrace your laziness instead.
You're going to tire yourself out and likely end up falling short and feel like a failure.
Not that you are a failure, you just feel like it when you pressure yourself to reach impossible and barely get there.
No sense making HUGE unattainable goals and beating yourself up for not even coming close.
Make Lazy Goals. Make them easy and attainable. Don't strive for someone else's standards or societal expectations.
If being lazy means doing whatever you want, then so be it. Do what you want
Start with something like "I will do ONE SINGLE sit up." or something similiar.
Just one thing. One action. Then you're done. Call it quits for the entire year.
It sounds silly but you're jumping in the deep end without learning to swim if you do something bold like create a New Year's Resolution when you don't typically make goals for yourself (no matter how small)
Just relax and take it easy.
Narcoleptic Ned joins us again this week to share his Nostalgic Tales about previous New Year's as well as his goals.
Previously, on Episode 3, he talked about the long lost art of cursive writing.
Each week there's a different random event on Lazy Island and you never know who might show up.
